Sivitanidios Public School Of Trades & Vocations

Sivitanidio visited the afternoon of Wednesday, May 16th, the PST Secretary of State Konstantinos Gavroglou. During this visit she showed she was well aware of the history of the School and her contribution to Technical Vocational Education.

The minister traveled to the premises and workshops of the School and devoted much time to chatting with students. The Minister's interest in their views was a very pleasant surprise for the children.

He then visited the Machine Shop area, where the exhibition of works by the children who took part in the 9th Panhellenic Student Photo Competition, organized by the 3rd EPAL Sivitanidio.

He also visited a showroom where there are tools and machines that have been used in the School's workshops since the Marshall Plan until the 1990s and discussed the possibility of creating a Technical Education Museum there.

After emphasizing the Ministry's support for the School and the intention to be upgraded institutionally, she sat together with teachers and pupils at the feast with traditional music and songs that had prepared the 1st and 4th EPAL.

The event was attended by SYRIZA, Athens 2nd adviser and chairman of the Standing Committee on Production and Commerce, Hara Kafantari.
